We built Vaktbok because local groups needed a better way to see who is doing what, and when. It's built just for Stavanger non-profits, and it talks like a human, not a robot.

They get calendar invites when they join a shift. Email reminders a few days before. Push notifications as the time gets close. All automatic. No chasing people.

Volunteers tap a big check-in button when they arrive. Organisers get an instant alert (email + push). You know who's there without texting everyone.
someone cancels last minute.
If a volunteer cancels within 48 hours, you get an instant alert. This gives you time to find a replacement or adjust your plans. No more Saturday morning surprises.
setting up weekly shifts is tedious.
Create a shift that repeats every week. Or set a time period like "May to August 2026". No need to manually enter the same shift 50 times.
regular tasks get forgotten.
Set up regular checklists (water roses, feed ducks). Add one-off tasks when surprises happen (repair broken fence). Volunteers tick things off as they go.

Volunteering is social, but personal data is private.
Privacy First
Regular volunteers can see that a slot is taken (e.g. "3/5 busy"), but they can't see who took it. Only the organisers can see names and contact info.
Separate Rooms
Every organisation gets its own private digital vault. Your schedule and volunteer list never mixes with the garden club next door.
Strictly Norwegian
We built this in Norway, for Norway. We follow strict GDPR rules and we don't sell data to anyone. Ever.
